After deactivating and removing the plugin, bits remain.

The plugin directory itself and some files are left behind. (easy enough to delete manually, but I shouldn’t have to)

Additionally, the plugin apparently makes some non-standard edits to the main menu that are not exposed anywhere in the WordPress admin. Notably, Sunshine adds a ‘home’ link, and a Client Galleries sub menu with Account, Cart, Checkout, and Favorites links. (many of which could be and in my case are, duplicated in the main menu)

I can’t see anyway to remove these menu entries. They do not show up in the Customizer.

I don’t suppose anyone could say where these changes are stored so I can fix them in code directly?

    Thanks in advance.

(note, I’d REALLY like to use Sunshine for a client as it has all of the features he needs save one big one – it is not integrated with Woocommerce. He doesn’t need a separate shopping cart with duplicated functionality, he just needs the photographer specific product features that Sunshine offers, but he still needs the regular product features that Woocommerce offers)

  • Sunshine does not delete data when the plugin is uninstalled/removed, you are correct.

Sunshine does create the various pages on install you mentioned, but does not in any way add them to any menus. If you are seeing this, possible you have a menu that defaults to showing all pages no matter what from your theme? Not sure, you would have to try another theme to see if that is the case.

Sunshine will likely never be integrated with WooCommerce, but you are welcome to use them side by side.
