    Hi everyone,

I’m using Postie on https://www.arvfd.ca along with Post Loop and amr shortcode any widget.

What’s happening is, every time I send an email it creates a new page and in turn will display the new information in the order it’s received. What I need it to do is either delete the previous page, append to same page overwriting previous email info or whatever so it reads only the most current email.

i.e.: when in service, the message on the site will display “In service & standing by for next call…” When a call is received I would like email postie would “in service” and replace it with the type of call being responded to.

In Post Loop I have an option to display from 0 to the number I would like to appear. It does that but also inserts linked 1, 2, etc. I would like just one active email post at any given time. Is there a way to do this?

I’m not a programmer. I’m very novice so try to explain any procedure so I’m able to understand it. lol

    Thank you everyone,

    efran

In WordPress the theme is the primary controller of how your site looks.

It sounds like your theme is adding the links to the posts beyond the first one when you specify 1 in the Post Loop.

Without knowing a lot of details about your theme it is hard to advise you. You likely need someone knowledgeable to sit next to you while you explain what you’ve done and what you want to change.
