• I am having the same problems some others mentioned – 80% of the words I use (I only have about 10-12 word links) work fine, but a few dont’

for example, DJI (Drones) came out with a new Model called Spark.

    DJI Spark doesn’t work
    Spark doesn’t work

    Examples in the blog article:
    https://www.droneflyers.com/dji-spark-nyc-introduction-first-look-hardware-etc/

It has nothing to do with my freq. settings – as you can see, other units on the same page “Mavic” for example, work fine.

Link Freq is average up to 5 times a page. Pages and posts are set – new window and nofollow also, but this can’t be the problem due to all the other works working.

    Please inform of any ideas.
I have flushed my cache(s) and my CDN – but this has been this way for weeks.

Any guesses? I’ve even tried plural like Sparks (and set that as another affiliate link). What could it have against this word?

Thank you for reporting this. I will try to replicate the issue to see what is happening.

I have copied your page content to one of my test websites and I added the word “spark” into auto affiliate links and it is working. Can you temporary remove the other links to see if left alone, links will be added to keyword spark ?

    I can try that.
But it’s hard to imagine how one word can change the other. I even tried similar words – like “Xparks” and that didn’t work!

Maybe it is the total count of words and the “X” number word doesn’t work. I will try a few tricks when I have time and get back to you.

I deleted everything and now “Spark” does work.
It didn’t work when I just deleted “Spark” and then entered it again – I had to delete everything.

Can you guess why this would be?

I have added two more words back and it still works, so maybe this will take care of the problem – but it’s always good to know why it might happen in the first place.

    Thanks

Hello. Thank for testing this. Is the link added for different words the same ? There is an option in the admin panel that limits same link to be added many times. Right now the plugin does not support keywords prioritizing, but I am thinking that this might be a good feature to be added.

There were no other words similar to “Spark”.

Yes, I used the options to limit to 5 instances on a page and starting at the top.

I did notice that when I use a plural, it is put on the same line in your program listing. For example, if I use “Sparks”, it is put into the same listing as “Spark”. That is OK for me because each word I use is usually different.

There are some brand names which are similar.

For example, the company makes the Phantom 3, Phantom 4, etc.

But the only problem I had was with Spark. I have not added back all the links yet but I will try that today and see if there are any problems.

    Thanks again,
    Craig
