Show (selected)calendar-date on archives-page

    Hi,
    I have my calendar widget linked to themes-archivepage. All ok, but now I want to show the selected (clicked) date at the top of the event-list. Now it shows :
    FESTIVALS…and here I would like to show the selected date….
    In archive.php there is written this:
    else :_e( ‘FESTIVALS’, ‘twentythirteen’ );
    and I don’t know which code calls for the selected calendar-date. Could you, or anyone else help me with this?

  • Hi,

    I’m not sure that would be possible. But you could try using Javascript or jQuery to pick up the date from the clicked element and adding it to the page title area.
