Media Library Search Doesn’t Work

THese are painful issues as there is no “fix all” solution – there is something somewhere creating a conflict and you have to somehow figure out what!

1. Start by looking at error logs via FTP: /error_log and /wp-admin/error_log – see if there is anything being reported – possibly a memory issue?
2. Ask your web host if they can see anything (provide the time of day you try and give it them)
3. Deactivate all plugins and switch to default theme (twentyseventeen)
4. If none of the above works, I suggest engaging a WP expert
