Saving a post redirects to wrong URL

  • When I click on the “Update” button after editing a post, wordpress redirects to “/wp-admin/post.php” instead of “/wp-admin/post.php?post=14555&action=edit”.
    The changes are saved, but instead of showing the edited post with a message that it has been saved, a page comes up with a list of some posts.

    Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I am totally helpless ??

    What did you do before this problem started? For example, did you update WP, plugins, theme, etc.?
