• Greetings,

Thanks for supporting reCAPTCHA! We thought it would block spam users, but our site is getting upwards of 5 registration spam/bot related requests a day through the UM registration form. We have the backend login/registration URLs disabled. The only login/registration forms active are using UM forms, which need to be accessible to our users (meaning, we can’t hide the login or registration forms).

    1) What are the alternatives to reCAPTCHA for UM?
    2) How can we use a traditional WP captcha from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/captcha/?

    Many thanks!

    Hi @tonyh-1,

Please go to the Ultimate member -> Forms -> your registration form and make sure that reCAPTCHA is enabled on this form.
Alternatively, you can use WPBruiser {no- Captcha anti-Spam} plugin which is complatible with Ultimate member.

    Regards.

Thank you for the feedback. I verified that reCAPTCHA is enabled on the form (through the registration form settings and the live form). We will try WPBruiser {no- Captcha anti-Spam}. Thank you for the link and confirmation that it works with your plugin! ??

    Cheers
