Sorry, but your plugin seems to mess up something in the backend, when it is active. The symptoms I encountered so far are:

    • no submenus showing anymore when hovering menu-entries in the left panel of admin
    • the plugin “simple history” breaks and is not able to show ANY logs (which is quite strange, since it mostly reads/collects log events).

Please check to have a correct plugin construct and fix those kind of problems. ??

I would also suggest to move your plugin’s settings-page either as subentry of WooCommerce or even WooCommerce -> Settings, since it is WooCommerce related and more of a settings page than a dynamic content section.

Unfortunately, I can’t use it as is for now.

  • Hi, the author if Simple History here.

I took a quick look at this just to check that it was not Simple History that was interfering with anything.

A lot of things on my local test site also stopped working after installing this plugin and I believe it is because the function cpsw_star_media_selector_print_scripts() is called in the admin_footer-filter on all pages. It contains some javascript that is causing fatal errors at many places (Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'model' of undefined). That script should probably be added only on some selected pages, or at least contain some checks that for example wp.media exists before trying to use.

    Hi

True, as P?r said wp.media was causing an error that breaks other scripts. Now it’s filtered and should work, please update to 1.8.4

    Thanks

Edit: Yeah, it’s a good idea move the menu to WooCommerce -> Settings, i’ll do it for next release
