• Hi –
I need to specify “span.product_categories_showing_count” in my child theme’s style.css, to be white, because my background is black.

I’ve tried all manner of addressing this element to no avail.
Your wc_sort_display.min.css takes precedence, no matter what I do.

I’m not sure how to override this element to make it white.

    Thank you,

    ** SORT OF RESOLVED **

My theme has its own “Custom CSS” which I access by using the “Customize” button in the admin bar, and apparently this CSS can override your plugin’s CSS, so this is where i had to put the style declaration.

I like to keep my CSS all together, in my child theme’s stylesheet, but if I must have this particular style declaration there to get the white text that I want, then so be it. I’ll just need to remember I have CSS style declarations in other places than just where i like to have them.

Anyone else looking to control elements of their store may find my solution useful.
