Dashboard blank after login

Hi:

A few versions ago (around 2.6) I did something stupid and removed items from the dashboard for registered users. I didn’t want them to see all the stuff that is presented and figured it really wasn’t that important.

Well after the upgrade to 2.7 the dashboard page is blank for all users (including the admin). I can get the dashboard to display if I go to another page (users.php for example) and get at the links that way.

Anyone know how to restore the dashboard to its former glory? I have tried re-installing but no luck.
