How to make blog wider???

DIV #Page is set in styles.css for 760 pixels. Change it to something like 850 and it should fit.

Look for page, narrowcolumn, widecolumn, header width, where it says

Or move the left margin of the sidebar a little.

I tried changing different numbers in that section, however it was not working the way its supposed to. I changed it back to the way it was because it was starting to look weird.

There is no escaping it, you MUST take the time to read your css in detail, do the tests and experiments you want, until you’ve achieved what you want.

This is the stylesheet that “tells” wordpress how he is allowed to display himself, the css file is the core of your site’s appearance.

Almost everybody learned css that way, trying stuff and seeing what were the results.

If you’re too lazy, then check the available wordpress themes from www.ads-software.com and see if you can find a theme that has a large width from the start ?

What do you mean “started to look weird”? You are using a very narrow theme design with 2 columns. You simply cannot insert a video wider than your content column without changing either the overal width of the theme or the widths of the columns. OR adjusting the size of the video. You can’t have it both ways.
