Incorrect Time in WordPress Website

What is the time on your server when seen at the command line?

Type date or date -u.

Please check your WordPress settings Settings > General, is your timezone set correctly?

You can also try to add the following to your .htaccess

php_value date.timezone 'Asia/Kolkata'

Do you have SSH access to your server? If not, do as Ben suggests and check settings->general.

@ben Timezone time also incorrect all timezones including utc are incorrect the time are 5 hours off. It shows 5 hours more time than original in all timezones

Contact your host and ask them to verify the server’s time settings.
