slow page when putting in content

I am building an affiliate webstie that isn’t like blog, it is more like a store, so I have to put in a lot of images. It is a geek website, so I have separate pages for each heroes and have for each main thing, like marvel or dc. Some of these pages end up have a LOT of products in them, and it turns out I can’t finish them, because there comes a moment when Elementor stops saving the page. It gets heavy and hard to work with (by the way, I constantly save the page), and then it just stops saving. The green bar goes and goes and if I leave the PC on, it will stay like that the whole night. I know it can get a bit heavy, but lots of other websites carry that many items in one page and it works. Why is this not working?
