• Hi all

    I need your help!

I am running my shop website on wp 2.6 hosted on bluehost.
Apart from some minor frontend tweaks, I also installed a plug-in called eShop.

The site was running perfectly fine for the past months on wp 2.6x. Until recently, it’s starting to run really slowly and timeout both frontend/backend whenever I try to update/post something.

A few people suggested that it may be the number of posts/pages on my site. I have about 115 posts, 489 pages. But with each pages/posts, there are about 5 images in the gallery, and associated records to eShop plug-in. I managed to temporary fixed the issue by removing all my drafts/revisions records. But the error is coming back after a while when I added more contents. I updated wp to 2.65 but the issue is still there…

I am just wondering whether anyone out there is experiencing similar issue. Or if there’s any fix I can look into?

This is the error I’ve been getting whenever I add/edit a record

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home1Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home1/viaalley/public_html/wp-includes/rewrite.php on line 353

    which is the page_rewrite_rules function.

Thanks so much for your time to read this!

    Regards
    Zaggie

I haven’t heard of anyone else having this problem with eShop, so let me know if you figure out where the problem lays. However I’m guessing that it will be a hosting issue.
