Wrong canonical URL at certain pagination’s pages

I have some custom canonical URLs.
The bugs of the code is happened at pagination’s page at a certain page. It seems that the code is searching if there’s a custom canonical URL, then the corresponding page is canonical to the existing custom canonical on that page.

For example, if one of my article at page 23 of the archieve page has canonical url to URL-A, then on the archieve at page 23 we’ll get canonical URL to URL-A, not to the page itself.

I’ve already test it. I removed the custom canonical URL of my article then the canonical of the page 23 was corrected (to the page 23 itself).
