• I have a blog about a few of my interests at https://www.listerhome.com

It primarally deals with my flight training, but I talk about other things as well. My problem is, the META tags aren’t setup correctly. That is, I’m not listed at all on GOOGLE. Where do I setup the META tags to allow spiders to grab key words? If I view source now, theyr’e all wrong. On my main index page, I’d like to defin my own meta tags. Is this possible?

  • Edit your theme’s header.php file and add your meta tags as desired under the existing meta tags. Or, you can also try the all-in-one SEO plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

Adding your meta tags doesn’t mean you will be listed in google, yahoo, or any other search engine. Time is what gets you there, once the search engine realize your site exists and try to index it. You can help them realize that by submitting your site to the search engine, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you will be listed much faster.
