What’s the best and safest way to push a staging site to the live site?

    I have a staging site ready to replace the live site. What’s the best way to go about this? I find your plugin lacking in useful information in this regard. Please let me know. Thank you.

    The best and easiest way:

    – Repeat all the modifications on the live site.

    – Copy plugin and theme files to the live site

    Repeat the settings on the live site or use a db migration plugin like wp migrate db

    I am busy with creating another version of wp quads which allows you to copy plugins and theme files to the live site with a single click but it’s not ready, yet.

    The changes are extensive, pretty much a new site. I’m going to use Backup Buddy to just archive the staging site and replace the live site.

    Any concerns I should look for in doing it this way?

    Should be working, but you must uninstall wp staging on the live site than or at least delete the db entry ‘wpstg_is_staging_site’ in wp_options

    I released WP Staging Pro recently. It can copy files from staging to live site.
    Hope you like to give it a try.
