• Moved my wordpress site from apache to nginx. Everything works fine but I can’t add a user via wordpress admin panel like I could have before.

I already tried disabling all plugins but it didn’t help.

It made a blank user on the first try I assume and after, nothing. It says the user has been added each time I create a new user but I don’t see it in the list of wordpress users. The blank account is like a gum that’s stuck under your shoe too.

See what the blank user looks like – https://i.imgur.com/N6JOMyW.jpg

Wordpress isn’t letting me delete the blank user. When I click the edit button, it redirects me to my admin account.

How can I fix this problem so I can add new users again and delete this blank user?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

It seems that you are trying to delete the account with the account you are logged in.
Try logging with another admin account and then deleting the account

Nope. It’s a blank account that just uses a default link to return to my main account. I was unable to create new users as well.

Did a restore of the old database backup and everything was fine from there.
