Same here 503 error on 12 of 28 sites but not all sites on those servers. Also internal server error on 2 of 5 sites on another server. None of my sites on go daddy were effected, which i believe runs a higher version of php.

Could still login, so deactivated Jetpack on each site. All sites are working. Will wait until there is an update. Thanks.

Yes, we still can login, but front pages or articles all 503 error, so downgraded to 5.0 because i need jetpack

Hi there, thanks for reporting this. Our developers are aware of the issue and are currently investigating it. I’m glad to hear that some of you have been able to workaround this issue by downgrading

Can you please let me know what version of PHP your sites are on?

Could you also please try upgrading to version 7.0 – This is the minimum required PHP version as advised by WordPress: https://www.ads-software.com/about/requirements/

    Hi Lamday,

My versiun is 5.6, i can upgrade to 7.0 php, but i`m aware of posibility that other plugins will not work with higher php then 5.6.

So what will be ok o do?

    Hi @truezone

That’s completely understandable. I also want to correct my previous comment – I meant to say that 7.0 is the minimum recommended and not the minimum required version.

Our developers are looking into the issue, however I have found that sometimes it can be fixed by simply reinstalling Jetpack. So that’s the first thing to try.

To uninstall Jetpack, start under Plugins > Installed Plugins. If Jetpack is active, click Deactivate to disable it. Then click Delete to remove it from your site.

If you can’t log into your site’s WordPress dashboard, you can remove Jetpack by using FTP to connect to your site. (Your host will have instructions on how to do this.) Once you’ve connected via FTP, browse to this folder: wp-content/plugins. Inside there should be a folder named “jetpack”. Delete it to remove Jetpack from your site.

Once it’s been uninstalled, you can reinstall it under Plugins > Add New. Simply search for “Jetpack by WordPress.com” and click Install Now like so:

When Jetpack is done installing, click Activate. Click the large Connect button to reconnect:

In most cases that has resolved the issue for our users, but if not, then you can you move on to try upgrade your PHP version.
