    Hello,

I moved from a single WordPress install to a multisite install last October. I imported all my blog posts from my single install to my subdomain (ex: from weathertogether.us to charlie.weathertogether.us), but the posts made before the move on the primary domain just link to the post ID on the primary domain. For posts written before May 2016 that I imported from Google Blogger, they link to the old url of the post on the primary domain (which no longer exists).

I’m pretty sure this isn’t a problem with the plugin, I was just wondering if you knew if there was any way to get the correct URL with these posts that were imported to my subdomain.

The recent posts are here: weathertogether.us/recent-posts/ , and the bad links to the post ID start on weathertogether.us/recent-posts/page/26. The bad links to the URL (i.e. the posts imported from Google Blogger) start on weathertogether.us/recent-posts/page/37.

    Thank you,
    Charlie

First check to see if their are duplicate page id’s. This will throw the plugin off because it goes by id’s not title or slug. If the problem links have any that are the same elsewhere delete the page or post and recreate it by pasting your saved information back in. That way wp will assign it another unique ID number. Do this first then let me know.

Whoops, sorry this completely slipped my mind! I wasn’t able to fix it, but I found that it was pinging the title/slug in the multisite ID but not the main one (ex: https://weathertogether.net/?p=5699 doesn’t work but https://charlie.weathertogether.net/?p=5699 does. I didn’t see any problems with duplicate page IDs.

If I recreate the post to create a new page ID, is there a way for me to timestamp it as the original time of the post? I don’t know if I’ll spend time doing this, just curious.

If you go to the page admin where you edit the page you can change the date there.
