• Dear

Great plugin congratulations! I use the plugin to send the images from the site to the s3, when I insert the images through the administrative panel of the wodpress the images are already loaded via s3. But on my site that inserts the images are the users through the theme. When users insert the images they are loaded with the normal wordpress path.

The post sent by the user is pending approval in the panel, I have to review and exchange the photos for the image that is in s3. How can I configure the theme to load the image address that is in s3 as it does when I insert a post through the administrative panel?

    Thank you

    Carlos

    Hi Carlos,

It sounds like you’re referring to the ability to add media to the library without using the Uploads screen in wp-admin. This is referred to as “sideloading” media; adding it programmatically. Support for this was added in v1.1.6. I’m assuming you’re on the most recent version of the plugin (currently 1.2), so if this isn’t working for you then chances are your theme is handling uploads in some non-standard way.

Does your theme add the uploads to your media library or it only uploads them to the server somewhere and saves the URL?

    Hello, Evan,

I use the real estate theme Reales WP, when a user loads the images in the user panel in the theme, they are sent to the wordpress library. These are ads that are pending review in the wordpress administrative panel. When I go into the administrative panel to publish the pending ads, I check that the images are with the default wordpress path: https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/photo that are on the server. In the library the images are with the path defined in the plugin: https://cdn.mysite.net/midia/2017/07/13113035/photo.jpg. In my view the images loaded in the theme should point to the path defined in the plugin. If I add a direct ad in the wordpress administrative panel, this problem does not occur. Do I have to make any changes to the theme?
