• I’m sure this has probably been mentioned elsewhere to please re-direct me if a solution already exists. I’m currently using 2.7 and have been using WordPress since version 2.5. I haven’t experienced any issues except with the new post editor. Here the HTML and Visual tabs don’t quite seem to work correctly. The tab highlights don’t seem to match (they don’t change when I click on either one) so it’s a bit tough to see which one is active. The “Visual” tab seems to be selected even though the editor appears to be in HTML mode.
I can click on the “Visual” tab at which point the text in the editing field disappears (I discovered it’s actually displayed as white text on a white background–still there but not visible) and I can no longer switch back to HTML. Also, all of the formatting controls seem to disappear so there’s no way to change the text colour or apply any other formatting. The only option is to reload the page and edit the post in HTML.
I’ve tried this in FireFox 3.0.4 and Internet Explorer 8 beta and both have the same behaviour. IE reports a JavaScript error somewhere on the page:
    Webpage Script Errors

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)

I don’t know if this should be in a new post but I’m also encountering problems with the Posts->Edit functionality. The sub-selections under each post item (Edit/Quick Edit/Delete/Preview) disappear as soon as I roll off of the title, effectively making them unclickable. This only happens in IE (works fine in FireFox).

Thanks for all you help and an otherwise outstanding product!

I guess I should’ve done some reading first ?? Some of the suggestions made here included disabling the Kimili Flash plugin and indeed this did the trick. It’s a bit of a shame because I use it quite extensively but I guess that’s for the plugin’s author to fix.

However, the IE rollover/rollout issue still exists (probably not related).
