Update Compatibility

  • FYI : I see an update for this today but it still says it is not compatible with 4.8 (I know I know, it probably will be fine but it would be nice to know for sure as anyone new coming to this will consider this, even if those of us who have had it a while might risk it) so, why was an update released without that testing being conducted and incorporated into the compatibility version bump? Seems like a careless and unnecessarily self-inflicted oversight – no? Unless you haven’t updated your own development version of WP which would be a remarkably irresponsible move when you are continuing to introduce features into it.

    I suspected as much, thank you for confirming it. That’s why I felt it was important for it to reflect that for the sake of new users who don’t already have it installed and might overlook the tool – thank you again. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to bump the compatibility version to make it accurate and the update will push out soon reflecting it. Take care.
