  • Hi Guys
    A lovely evening to you all
    So, I am having some issues with my WordPress Installation
    I migrated my wordpress site using FTP to a new Hosting company (hostgator)
    Everything was fine, until i tried uploading an image. Once I tried to do this, I encountered the error “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
    I think this issue has to do with the fact that I migrated
    I have searched the error across forums and I can’t seem to find a fix for this issue
    Another information that might help is the fact that the only images that display within my wordpress backend in my new installation is from November 2016, whereas I uploaded images from way back in 2012.

  • I have had that issue from time to time with one of my client’s hostgator accounts. It seemed to be server response issues when I was doing it because after a short period of time of giving me those errors it would later the same day take the same photos without any issues at all.

    Granted it was an artist’s website – so I shrank some of the images to ensure that it wasn’t the heavy files that were the problem.

    Other than that – I am not sure.
