• On a site that’s been working fine for years, suddenly none of the posts are displaying in the admin panel and new posts are not showing up on the public side of the site. Not sure where to begin looking to try to solve the issue. I tried deactivating JetPack and Google Analytics plugins as they have caused issues in the past but that did not resolve the issue. I guess I should try deactivating all plugins but this is a high traffic website and I am worried about something “breaking”. You can see there are many posts by the numbers in the Posts filter list: All: 870 | Mine: 293 | Published: 847, etc. but there are no posts displaying below that. Any ideas what might be happening?

  • It certainly may be a plugin issue. Do you have a staging site where you can test?
If not, having a high traffic site where a downtime will hurt then you need one.

However, you may need to deactivate all plugins and see what’s causing the issue.

    Hello ggdesigns,
Enable debugging as it may provide a more specific error.
Verify your posts exist directly in the database in the “wp_posts” table.
    Cheers,
    John-Paul
