post editor issue

  • Hi
    When I go to make a new post or edit a post the whether in “Visual” or “Text” mode the (html) command line does not show and the text is not showing in visual mode unless I put the cursor in the body of the post and drag to highlight text…then it shows.

    I have tried reinstalling wordpress. I have also updated to the latest version of kale.

    I am at a loss….I have access to a couple of other wordperss blogs (different themes) where the post editor is normal.

    So at this point I can’t easily ad links, change text to bold, italic, etc.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Well, When I tried a different browser I did not experience the issue.

    I will try clearing the cache again.

    I was about to suggest clearing your browser cache, but I’m glad to hear that you’ve taken steps to try and fix your issue.

    Please let us know how that browser cache clearing goes!

    Browser Cache clearing unfortunately did no good in IE. But I can edit posts fine with Chrome & Firefox.

    If I figure it out (and looks like it is not a Kale issue) I will post solution.

    I know from doing a little research that some people have experienced this because of conflicts with some plug-ins which I haven’t had time to check out yet.
