Keeping default website theme

Hello all! I’m starting to create a Woocommerce store on my client’s website, bitetime.com …the site has a custom made theme. I’m wondering if installing a woocommerce store theme will replace our custom theme? This is my first time using Woocommerce, so I’m not familiar with how this aspect works. Thanks for your help!

Using a plugin won’t do any harm; however if you’re planning to use a theme from woo-commerce or any other theme that would be a problem as @dasamamula pointed out ??
