Deletion of old events

    If I delete older events, are they removed from the database? If not, can they be deleted manually?

    I’d suggest trying out this recurring events cleanup utility to clear your database of unnecessary old events. ??

    Thanks, Shelby. These aren’t recurring events, but random ones. Two years worth of around 12-15 events each month. Does that utility deal with those?

    Thanks for following up! If the events you wish to delete are not recurring events, you may wish to try a third-party mass deletion plugin that supports custom post types. This one may work for your needs; a quick search should turn up plenty more options!

    Thanks, Caroline. The problem (transients filling up the database triggered the original post) has been fixed by another plugin you mentioned in a separate thread.
