HTTPS Issue with downloads

    Hi,
    i have some problems with package downloads after switch to https. Was able to install/switch from local environment to public https location, but if i create a backup from this public https location (wich works fine & fast), i was not able to download this package.
    From now i copy both files with an ftp client and rename XXXinstall.php to install.php, but browserdownload in backend breaks after some time, so the download is not possible here.
    Tested with mac & safari.

    Am i the only one with this issue?

  • In some cases you may have to check the httpd-ssl.conf as it may have different directives than your httpd.conf if your using Apache. As far a browsers are concerned we have several different hosts and localhost setups with ssl that all work fine in Chrome, FF and IE. Have not tried safari though…
