Closing an image in lighbox is confusing
-
I have a question about the user interaction with a NextGen gallery. Currently on my gallery when you click an image it expands into a lightbox. How do you close that image? Well that’s the part that is not exactly clear. If you click on the image directly, nothing happens. If you click outside the image, or on the “X” in a small area of controls in the top left, the lightbox becomes a dark 80% transparent gray. Then if you click the image, it disappears. But if you now click outside the image for some reason, nothing happens.
So, does this seem like a intuitive and simple process for a user? I really don’t think so. “I’ve opened this image, now how do I close it?” The current flow is confusing as heck.
I’m wondering if mine is buggy or why this would be in a dimple gallery plugin in 2017.
