Major issue with tags in 2.7.0

I’ve been using the YouTube Showcase (free) for my website for a while, but after the latest update, <br> tags are automatically removed when switching from Text mode, making it impossible to copy over formatted text from other sources without having to manually correct line breaks (then losing these again whenever the page is modified). Please let me know if you are working on fixing this problem or if there is anything else I can do.
