translate “related products” text

Hello, i was planning to push an update in the next days to allow translation but since you need it i ll push the update tomorrow.

Hello, i just pushed the update.
You can now translate Relate products heading text, i also added a few PO trnslation files for English, French, German, Luxemburgish and Greek languages.

Hi, Thanks for putting out a new version with the translation functionality. However, I can’t find any option to translate the text? I looked around language settings as well and didn’t find anything. Is it possible one of my plugins is affecting this? Maybe it’s important to know I also use woopoly in case that could be affecting this.

Hello if your website has more than one language you should go to plugin settings remove related products text from options and then your multilingual system to translate the pkugin po files or you can simply instal loco translate for wordpress and translate the plugin text.

Hi. Wow, your customer service is really fantastic!

I installed Loco and that was able to translate the default “related products” but if I use woo related products to change the header text, the translation doesn’t show up on the translated page yet. However, I do see the translated text in the Loco plugin translate section. I am wondering if another plugin can be affecting this?

Loco translate will work with plugin’s PO files, you can edit the PO files with Loco and change the text to whatever you need it to be, you can also add new languages with Loco.
So you ll just need to use Loco to change and translate the text.
If you still can’t do it let me know i am happy to help.

Yeah, maybe some help is needed. I just checked the woo-related-products.po and it is edited (see below). At this point, I would imagine it should work but it still doesn’t.

Did you remove any custom text from plugin options page? If you did could you give me a temp admin account for your website so i can get in and check ? ( send it on my mail info[@]eboxnet.com )

no, I didn’t. I wasn’t sure which plugin option page you mean. But yeah, sure, hold on and i’ll make you a temp account.

Plugin’s settings page under Woocommerce -> Woo Related Products

Btw you can use that page if you website is not multilingual to add the custom text you need (the “Translation”)
I guess you didn’t find that ?

Ok i removed the custom text for you and your translation works fine now.
