I’m trialing the premium version of plug in and like it a lot. It’s not live yet as I’m new to WP and plugins, so using it in a ‘draft page’ of a live website. It seems to meet my basic needs very well, especially in terms of working with the website theme and design.

However there is one major issue I’ve come across and unless I can resolve it, it’s a show stopper.

When a FAQ is opened, the page jumps up sharply. Apart from being hard on the eye, and losing position of where the FAQ question is, the FAQ question is then partially obscured by the page header. I’d have thought that when the FAQ is clicked, as the answer appears underneath, it would ‘push’ the remaining page content down?

Interestingly when you click ‘expand all’ this is exactly what happens i.e. it works perfectly by ‘pushing’ the remaining page content down.

Any thoughts on why opening an individual FAQ is forcing the page to jump up? My apologies if all the terms I’ve used are the correct ones, I’m the owner of the site not an IT specialist. Many thanks in advance.

  • Hi choc,

That just sounds like you have “Scroll To Top” set to “Yes” (in the “Basic” area of the “Options” tab). If you set that to “No”, it shouldn’t scroll to the top of the FAQ you click.

Hi Etoile, you were absolutely spot on, thanks ever so much as – it took literally 10 seconds to fix. When you don’t know what you don’t know, sometimes a bit of help from those that do works wonders! Many thanks indeed.
