• I installed a plugin to find old links. It provided several links from an older design but still in the website. I can find them in the database. for example a link /groupsw.htm, /images/bc_mhguide.pdf, links.html, etc
    the question is:
how to remove these links from the database without affecting the integrity of the database?
    thank you for your help.

  • Tools like PHPMyAdmin come with most hosting plans that have a cPanel. Database admin applications will allow you to go in and delete those old tables. Just make sure you have a good backup of the database first. Just in case.

If you are worried about the “integrity” of the database, there are database repair tools available that your hosting provider can help you with. Or, if you have cPanel, these would be located under the “Databases” section.
