Latest Update Crashed My Site

  • I have had this plugin installed for a while and used it to check for compatibility when upgrading to PHP 7 (from 5.6).

    I installed the plugin update yesterday and got fatal errors that stopped me accessing both the site & the WP Admin.

    My Web Hosting company ‘fixed’ the problem from their end. Now I am unable to get the plugin to delete from the WP Admin on my site and I am being informed of an update available, which means that I am going to have to deselect it each time I install a list of updates.

    Is there an uninstall method for a non PHP / WordPress Geek?
