I’m using the current version of Contact Form 7 PayPal Add-on Pro plugin, and it works flawlessly on my PC and on my smaller android tablet (Fire 7); however, when I access the form on my iPad with either Chrome or Safari browser, the form completes properly, but does not redirect to PayPal for payment. It doesn’t matter whether I have it in Live or in Sandbox mode. Any thoughts? Please?

  • I’m having the same issue on 2 different websites I created

It may have to do with the version of iOS…the iPad Mini we are testing that fails is v9.3.5 and we successfully tested with one that is v10.3.3….unfortunately, the one that fails can’t be upgraded to the latest version I’m guessing because it’s an older model

Thanks for that info – I just checked my iPad (an older one), and it shows that my software is up to date with version 9.3.5. That seems to be the issue, then. I have attempted to contact Scott several times and have not received a reply at all – have you tried to contact him? I sure would like to get some resolution or workaround.

He replied to my initial email inquiry 11 days ago, but not the subsequent 2 since then

I believe I have found a solution to this problem.

On the plugins settings page, there is a setting for “Redirect Method”. This must be set to “method 2” for the plugin to redirect to PayPal on older iOS devices.

Please note that this solution only applies to the Pro version. If you experience this problem using the free version of the plugin, please let me know.
