Ordinal display in Post title text

    My site (https://southernmdfd.com/) uses the Foodie Pro child theme for the Genesis Framework. I have a problem when I try to write something like “SMADC celebrates Buy Local Challenge 10th anniversary” for the title of a post (that’s a current post, https://southernmdfd.com/smadc-celebration/). It appears correctly on the page where the post displays by itself. But on the home page, where the posts are displayed in a bit larger format, it shows as “SMADC celebrates Buy Local Challenge 10<sup class=”ordinal”>th</sup> anniversary” so I have had to re-write it as SMADC celebrates Buy Local Challenge Tenth anniversary” in order to avoid the ordinal code appearing in the title. Is there any way to fix this?

    The proper solution is described in the FAQ (adapting the theme templates to us the_title_attribute). Alternatively, you can disable CSS class injection entirely in the settings. There might be other measures to take, but it really depends on the template markup and functions.
