Dropdown arrow in mobile and ipad and hover problems

  • Hi,

    I have done some CSS customization on my Twenty Seventeen website to suit my business. But the iPad and mobile version of my website smaksnack.com only shows the arrows for each sub.menu that has a drop-down menu once you click to the right of the sub.menu. I would like the down arrow to show from the beginning and then have an up arrow so they can close the drop-down menu as well. What would the CSS be?

    Also, the iPad version of my website has the grey hover colour when hovering over all menu titles whilst the mobile version only has it on the once that has a drop-down menu. How do I change so the mobile has the same as the iPad version?

    Do you mean you want the up arrow to be clickable – and on click it hides the dropdown menu?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for your message. Exactly, so I would like the down arrow that shows now when you click far to the right to show from the beginning in the Ipad and mobile version. To make it easier for the customers to know where to click to see the drop-down menu. And then add an up arrow (instead of the down arrow) they can click on to hide the drop-down menu and then it will show the down arrow again to indicate that there’s a drop-down menu. I hope this makes sense, this is all new to me so don’t know the right terms for things, sorry.
