SSL / Mixed Content Problem with OpenStreetMap

  • Hi Anette,
    not all tile servers are yet available via https, anyway this is beyond our influence and we this changes soon as the web in general moves toward https only. Loading via http will not be added though, as this would also decrease privacy of the users. I would suggest to switch to a basemap which already supports https now as a temporary workaround (like native OpenStreetMap)

    Hi Annette,
    we took a look again at the availability of TLS tile server and found that for the variante OSM Black & White and OSM DE already TLS tile server exist – we will update our plugins accordingly with the next release – thanks for pointing this out & helping to improve our plugins!
