grid view is not working in media library 4.8.1

    i had uploaded the image in media library. the image is visible in list view but its not showing in GRID VIEW.
    i am so tired after trying so many options, but all in vain , nothing is helping me out

    please help me out

    one more thing : when i upload the image in media library it shows error while uploading, but when i check it in list view of library the image is uploaded …

    Why is this happening ..!!!
