• I read another, now-closed, thread on this issue.

    Advice you gave was:

“Try adding the www to the Site Address (URL) setting in WP admin > Settings >General”

My setting for “Site Address (URL)” is currently set like “https://100.1.100.1/~softwxr7”.

Should I change that to “www.my-site-url.com”?

Thanks. Other than this issue, your plugin seems great. And, this is probably an issue for me just because I am new to WP.

    Hi Judtaylor,

That thread was directed at someone who has a site such as https://www.mysite.com but some of the links on their site go to https://mysite.com (without the www)

Because the two domains (https://www.mysite.com vs https://mysite.com) are different, they are treated like two completely distinct sites, and visitors will have to login to both sites in order to have access to all the pages. The solution for this is to be consistent on all your pages and links – in other words all of the pages on your site should either have www at the beginning or not.

So long as all the page URLs on your site begin with https://100.1.100.1/~softwxr7 and all of the links on your site go to URLs beginning with https://100.1.100.1/~softwxr7, you should be fine.

Assuming that this is not your problem, you could very likely be experiencing a caching issue. If you are using a caching plugin, or your host is auto-caching for you, feel free to message me direct for further assistance via info[at]clevelandwebdeveloper[dot]com

I am also having the same problem noted in chumsicle’s thread (that is now closed). I also am using the same server that chumsicle is/was using and even with the suggested fixes (with both of my premium plugins), I am continuing to have the same problem as these two gentlemen. My customer is getting close to asking me to switch plugins, but I still really do like yours – a lot, but at the same time I really really really need to figure out why this continues to be an issue.

Thanks & Have an great day! ??
