54 events imported as 199

    I had 54 events to import from a csv file. Updated to latest Events Calendar version and launched. In the end it came out fine as far as I can see, but…

    – several unsuccessful trials where the import would just hang, which seemed to come from some rows where the time format wasn’t exactly what was expected

    – when I finally got the import to run, the counter as the import was going on went to “199 events + 9 updated” – what’s up with that?

    -the history page still has the little wheel going around with a message that says “Your import is currently in progress. Don’t worry, you can safely navigate away–the import will continue in the background.” Maybe that’s left over from some imports that failed due to some data in not-quite-the-right-format? How do I make it stop???

    Bottom line – I had about 150 duplicates of one event, the 8th one down in the CSV file, that I had to delete manually. Be nice to fix whatever caused that, don’t you think?

    Updated to 4.5.10.1 and did a small import to test – worked as expected, no duplicates, ended in a tidy way. There were some other issues from the user side that went away as well.
