Problems Updating Plugin with Unusual Version Number
-
Hi There
I am loving Easy Updates Manager it updates perfectly. I have one small problem that it will not update the Beaver Builder Pro plugin. When I checked I saw that the version required an upgrade from version “1.10.7” to version “1.10.7.1”. The same Beaver Builder plugin updates just fine when I run it manually from the WordPress plugins page.
I did take note of the fact that the BB Plugin is the only plugin that on occasion uses a version number of this length with three dots and four number fields and I believe that this is what is causing the problem. I have tried to force updates from your admin pages but with no luck. When I checked my email alerts the following error message had been sent to me by your updater plugin and the Beaver Beaver plugin refuses to update:-
Updating plugin:
The plugin is at the latest version.
Error: [fs_unavailable] Could not access filesystem. Is it possible that the problem is being caused by the longer new version number or the fact that the old and new version numbers possess a different number of dots and number fields? If so, is it possible please that you kindly fix up the code allow for this scenario, so that my scheduled updates no longer fail in this scenario, please?
Kind Regards and Thank You in advance for any help you can give me.
