Slider Loading Issues

These kind of problems usually happen when there is a JavaScript error on the page, which you can check like this: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/318-chrome
I clicked through every page of your menu, but I could neither see any JavaScript error nor replicate the problem.

Which browser are you using where the problem happens and what is the version number of it? I checked every page using Chrome 60.0.3112.101 and I checked a couple of pages in Firefox 55.0.2.

Thank you for your prompt respond.

I’ve updated the Chrome to the latest version, but the issue didn’t go away.

The slider wouldn’t load most of the times on following pages in particular:

https://taoistarts.org.uk/blog/

It is very strange as it loads just fine on the front page all the time.

Hi Ramona,

I’ve noticed the pattern here. When I clean all of the caches and load those pages first then the slider does load nicely; however, as soon as I load those pages for the second time the slider doesn’t load.

Any ideas why it is so?

I’m still unable to reproduce the problem, but I tried refreshing the linked pages a couple of times. (I also tried going to these pages from the menu, no difference.)

When you see the problem, can you see any JavaScript error?

I tried to load the site with Safari two ways, i.e. with the caches enabled and disabled. As soon as I disabled the caches the slider loads just fine on all pages.

Any ideas how to make it load with the caches enabled?

PS. I cannot see any JavaScript errors.

It would seem to me that having CSS mode set as “Async” under the Nextend settings – General settings – helped just a bit, i.e. the slider loads then and again.

Do you mean you turned on/off the browser’s cache? Unfortunately I don’t have a Safari to test it (I think the problem happens only in that browser), but if the Async option usually helps with cache related problems, although I haven’t seen or heard such problems with browser caches.
