Linking from posting to the right page of index.php

    Maybe I’ve overlooked something but I didn’t find a solution for this “problem”:

    I have the typical “next” and “previous” posting-links on the bottom of each “single.php”-page. But I want also a “back to index”-page.

    BUT ??

    I want it that way that if someone click “back to index”-page it will take him back to the correct page of the index.php e.g. https://www.domain.tld/page/2/ and not https://www.domain.tld.

    How can I achieve this? Does someone of you have a clue?
