We are using your plugin thru MainWP. We are trying to backup to AWS S3. I opened the S3 permissions up fully to test and I am still getting the following error message. It looks like this is running an older version of the api.

ERROR: S3 Service API: Missing required client configuration options: version: (string) A “version” configuration value is required. Specifying a version constraint ensures that your code will not be affected by a breaking change made to the service. For example, when using Amazon S3, you can lock your API version to “2006-03-01”. Your build of the SDK has the following version(s) of “s3”: * “2006-03-01” You may provide “latest” to the “version” configuration value to utilize the most recent available API version that your client’s API provider can find. Note: Using ‘latest’ in a production application is not recommended. A list of available API versions can be found on each client’s API documentation page: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/aws-sdk-php/v3/api/index.html. If you are unable to load a specific API version, then you may need to update your copy of the SDK.

    Thank You
    Mike

We’ve had BWPup running without issues for a long time on one of our sites, but just last night, got this same error message. Any update on what’s causing this? (Just FYI: our other 100+ sites on the same server, using almost identical settings are NOT giving this error — at least not yet.)

Also: wondered if the issue was caused by a specific S3 key pair, but no — happens with other key pairs.

The error also appears on the S3 tab of the backup job, under “Bucket selection”

Just as a test for any corrupt files (since this is only happening on ONE of our 100+ sites), I totally deleted the plugin via FTP and re-uploaded a fresh download. Same error.
