Featured images on pages

    Just switched my site over to MH Magazine Lite from a blog-style theme and liking it.

    I have put featured images on my POSTS to make them appear properly in the widgets. But the theme has removed the featured images from my PAGES. Is this what’s supposed to happen? How can I get round it?

    Yes, the featured image is supposed to display on posts, not on pages. Pages in WordPress usually are used for all kinds of purposes and displaying an automatic featured image there would be inappropriate for many use cases.

    If you would like to embed images within your content on pages, you can do this through the WordPress editor: Inserting Images into Posts and Pages.

    Thanks for the lightning-quick response!

    I thought that might be the case. I only have a few pages to do so it’s not impossible.
