• Hi, I’m a WP newbie migrating from drupal, I am building a site for job postings, I have created custom post types and have created the page for listing the job archives and a click through page to the full article.
What I need to do is attach a form so logged in users can apply for the job, the user would have previously registered so their details should already be stored.

So the form would need to flag up in admin so that the site admin can see the profile of the user who submitted it and the particular post they applied to.

It sounds easy and I have seen a few plugins which appear to almost do this but not quite, I am really confused as to wether I should try and do this bespoke or find a plugin which is an exact match, I would rather build it myself so at least I will know how the code works in case I have to modify it.

I haven’t yet found a tutorial that explains this, can anyone offer any assistance or advice with this issue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
