    I’m wondering if I can configure this tool to automatically send an email to users who subscribed to a particular taxonomy (category or tag). Is this the case?

  • Unfortunately, that’s not the case. You can only send a Welcome Email to the user if subscribed to a particular list or if he’s a new WordPress User on a specific role. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    What you can do, is create a list for a specific category, then you can send a welcome email to this user and set up a Post Notification email for that particular list. That might help you achieve what you want.
