Blue question mark on some photos

  • Hi!

    My website is going live next week, but I’m having some issues with images. Often they don’t work and they show a blue question mark, and other times they do work. It seems to be completely random. Every time it’s a different image so I really don’t know why it is happening. I have another website and I never had any issues like this, so it’s new for me.

    Unfortunately, my website is hiding behind an underconstruction page right now so I can’t show you how it looks. Does anyone know what it might be? I thought it was because the images were too big, but when I resized them the issue still occurred. Could it be the server that I’m using?

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
